[Openembedded-architecture] wic - Support for complex FIT generation

Hi all,

So before getting into any detail I do want to point out that I am
aware of the kernel-fitimage class in OE-Core, and it works great for
the general use case of FIT where there is only kernels, dtbs and
rootfs.

But this email is more about the extended use cases of FIT and whether
implementing the features should be done in wic or elsewhere.

Some things that FIT can do for images:
  * firmware images / fpga bitstream images (this is one of the main
ones I am interested in)
  * u-boot scripts
  * image signing

I am looking for feedback as to whether this would be an acceptable
addition for wic or if anyone has opinions on a better way to handle
FIT generation.
