Apologies, but my opinion about this subject is quite negative. I've 
done a lot of work with recipes in both oe-core and meta-oe, and I 
haven't been confused or constrained by alleged whitespace 
inconsistencies or quirks even once. I will refuse to take any tasks to 
fix this up, as in my opinion it's a waste of everyone's time.
