    <p>Gnutls has a 3.6.x version that changes many ABI's and is why I
      updated and stayed with the 3.5 series instead.<br>

      learned there can help guide us in the matter?</p>

    <p>Some integration path ideas  listed below:<br>

    <p>1) Add it now with "<code class="filename">DEFAULT_PREFERENCE</code>
      to '-1' " set <br>
    </p>
    <p>2) Have the update sit in akuster/mut to assess the impact and
      fix issues. This allow running in Yocto AB<br>
    </p>
    <p>3) or both</p>
    <p>Doing #1 allows us to hit a larger layer set. <br>
    </p>
    <p>Targeting  for 2.5 release.</p>
