could i ask which kernel version are you running in order to get sound out of
akita ?
also .. could you post me a dmesg ?

i am experiencing a terrible issue with 2.6.22, 2.5.23, 2.6.24, and 2.6.26
kernels about i2c and the i2c-sound card
