I'm unable to build python 2.6.1 for minimal.conf and x86.conf machine because
of Floating point exeception error. I guess is related with cross compilation
issue because python-native 2.6.1 was compiled fine.

I have got the same error with:

gcc 4.2.4 
gcc 4.1.1 

and

-march=i486
-march=i586
