As of today with the latest Angstrom distro in git HEAD, a relocatable
toolchain is is working, you only need to adapt the environment-setup script to
point to the different installation directory.

About the other user/host: This must have been caused by the other user/host
having a different environment (e.g. environment-setup not sourced, different
PATH with and asssembler for a differnet architecture or missing instruction
set suppport)
