Invalid, this bug was caused by using the wrong bitbake source tree with the
current org.openembedded.dev tree.

The bug was present when using the outdated bitbake sourcetree from
svn://svn.berlios.de/bitbake

I got no issues when using the current git tree from
git://git.openembedded.org/bitbake.git
