I don't understand how it could fail for spitz and not for c7x0. Nobody else
ever reported the issue.

I rebuilt myself earlier today from scratch and the images were there.

BTW, I added recently the cpio.lzma as possible compression format for the
initramfs. On my buildhost all was fine...all was seemingly ok...but...
after a couple of days Stanislav added a missing +DEPENDS = "lzma-native".
(He had any problem with the cpio.gz).

IMHO after this second test the issue is definitely not metadata-related.
