No.  It's all our fault.  The OE community isn't doing very well for accepting
outside contributions.  Some prefer being approached via channel A, others via
channel B, etc.  And generally many people only work on what's dear to their
heart, not taking into account OE as a community in general.  I also feel that
many of those with RW access who are not supergeeks (me included) are
uncomfortable making decisions in areas outside their comfort zone.  All this
leads to an incredible backlog and erratic lead times in getting your patches
accepted.  It may take only a few hours or it could be years.  It's pure luck
most of the times :-(
