Would it make sense to add TARGET_SUBARCH variable ?

TARRGET_ARCH = arm
TARGET_SUBARCH = armv7a
MACHINE=beagleboard

and in bitbake.conf

TARGET_SUBARCH ??= "${TARGET_ARCH}"
