I think its more subtle than that. I think gettext-minimal-native and
gettext-native are trampling over each other's files. This can probably
be reproduced with:

bitbake gettext-minimal-native
bitbake gettext-native
bitbake gettext-native -c clean
bitbake shadow-native

I think the fix should be something like:
