[OE-core] for svn:// fetching, is "protocol=svn" the default?

  currently documenting svn fetching and noticed the occasional recipe
with "protocol=svn", i have to assume that setting is unnecessary once
you've specified the svn:// protocol, yes?

meta/recipes-devtools/mkelfimage/mkelfimage_svn.bb:SRC_URI = "svn://coreboot.org/coreboot/trunk/util;module=mkelfImage;protocol=svn \

or is there something more subtle happening here?
