[OE-core] Python recipe

Just curious, what is this line doing in .../recipes-devtools/python/python_2.7.2.bb
   DEPENDS_sharprom = "python-native db readline zlib gdbm openssl"

n.b. I know what it does, I just don't know why it's there in
a "core" recipe.
