[OE-core] a style guide entry for using BBMASK?

  is there a *preferred* format for setting BBMASK?  in my travels,
i've seen variations such as:

  "dir/dir"
  "dir/dir/"
  "dir/dir/*"
  ".*/dir/dir"

and so on.  is there an aesthetic preference of any kind?
