This breaks the backports policy where now we have a fix in
release branch which is still not fixed in master. So my suggestion is
1. Backport it for 7.11 as well and propose it to master
2. Open a bugzilla entry to track it for master and hopefully 7.12 comes out before 2.2 release
which should ( July estimated) happen most probably.
