It’s a balance to strike in my opinion sometimes we go out of way to keep
supporting ancient compilers that has its own disadvantages At the same
time if we ask for additional packages for certain hosts this could also
mean that if they were building older releases those may not build anymore
with new compiler so it’s a dicey situation
