All,
I have been working with LTP (Linux Test Project) for several months
now and had quite a bit of issues with its default settings on many
tests mainly do to the limited resources on my hardware (RAM). I have
got most of it working but came to the conclusion that previsions
really needed made in the LTP mainline to better support embedded
systems in the future.
I posted to the LTP mailing list and received quite a bit of interest
in pushing LTP in that direction. One of the main developers
(Subrata Modak) has posted an initial idea and has asked for feedback
from the community. I thought since *most* of the OE developers are
working on embedded systems that quite a few of us may have good
suggestions/insight for Subrata so I ask anyone interested in LTP
please post your ideas/suggestions to LTP list
(ltp-list at lists.sf.net). The initial thread I started, on the LTP
list, regarding this issue was:" embedded systems with limited memory
issues"
Regards,
Shane
