Hi,

I reverted 1f16e2c5f999a795b1dc77b2f2011f17a077f16e because:

* The 'patch' is not a patch and breaks the build
* The error this commit tries to fix can be remedied by using a more 
recent gettext-native

And it also doesn't adhere to our commit policy.
