I think you can try to limit supported targets as a temporary measure, like:

EXTRA_OECONF += "--target-list=arm-linux-user,arm-softmmu"

Same here. Although I'm something like 3 weeks behind with sid currently and 
will only be able to update and try latest on Sunday.
