[oe] bitbake gumstix-basic-image error with 'patches' directory

It works well here so dont know what could be wrong at your end.
one thing you could try is create 'files' directory under recipes/mpfr
and move long-long-thumb.patch to this new dir
and then clean mpfr-native and build it again.
