I do not know, if I should have answered in the thread of [1], but
anyway.

Is

        do_configure_prepend() {
                autopoint || automake --add-missing
        }

a viable solution [2]? Or is this just the same as removing
`EXTRA_AUTORECONF = "--exclude=autopoint"` from `autotools.bbclass`?

The configure went fine for me.
