I used the sources kernel provided my the ubuntu-comunity.

the defconfig ( attachment ) belongs into linux/linux-netwalker-2.6.28/
directory.
i have added support for tun/tap ( openvpn needs this ) and some
additional HW support
( profilic usb , irda )
of course there will be added some other stuff, but this confiuration
boots the device properly  and allows access to the SDIO based wlan chip.
