Setting DEFAULT_PREFERENCE_yourmachine = "1" is not enough: you have
to provide a specific defconfig for your machine, in a subdir of
linux-2.6.32+2.6.33-rc4
Actually only spitz machine has one...I suppose you are building using
default defconfig.
