Phil,
actually I am trying to use xinput_calibrator
http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/xinput_calibrator

It looks a quite raw application and comes without autotools
configuration making it hard to transform into an OE recipe.

OTOH I could dig further into xorg, but both ways looks quite hard to me
due to my poor experience with xorg mechanics.

Any hints and help would be greatly appreciated.
