Hello Fabrice,
thanks for that tip, it works.
But you have to avoid a rev=xxxx argument in SRC_URI. This will overrule the AUTOREV setting.
By the way, that should be corrected/reported by a specialist in the user manuals.

This should work by putting:
SRCREV = "${AUTOREV}"
in your .bb file
