hmm the new bitbake isn't working on the 2011.03-maintenance branch.  It is
reporting errors like
 "ERROR: There is a comment on line 59 of file
/home/mscudder/oe-phase2/openembedded/recipes/gcc/gcc-4.3.1.inc (#
file://pr34130.patch
\) which is in the middle of a multiline expression.
Bitbake used to ignore these but no longer does so, please fix your
metadata as errors are likely as a result of this change."

this seems to be mostly in the gcc area.  are there any patches that can be
pulled in to the 2011.03-maintenance branch that fix the comments in
multiline expressions?
