To make acking easier, it would be nice to have more information in the
commit message.

1. Reference or URL to the ID of the commit to 2.6.23.
2. What is the addition used for?
3. Has it been tested? How?

Otherwise the list seems to be pretty calm recently. I do not know how
it could be revived.
