Hi Simone,
I was able to build with the following settings but I am not able to run 
Qt5 apps on my iMX6 target.
IMAGE_INSTALL_append = "qtbase qtbase-fonts qtbase-plugins 
qtbase-examples cinematicexperience gstreamer nano cairo pango 
fontconfig freetype"
DISTRO_FEATURES_remove = "x11 wayland"

Which branch are you using (for yocto and meta-qt5)?
Are you applying any patch to meta-qt5?
