Oh, sorry about that. Yes there are indeed supposed to be two patches:

    [meta-python][PATCH 1/2] python-slip-dbus: update to 0.6.5
    [meta-python][PATCH 2/2] python-slip-dbus: add a python3 version of the recipe

I sent them both on 30 Jan but they didn't appear in the list archives  
straight away so I thought there might be a moderation queue where they 
are held up? Or maybe it is some deficiency in our corporate Outlook365 
email... :-(
