Summary: Calibration xtscal
Product: Openembedded
Version: Angstrom
Platform: ARM
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Distributions
AssignedTo: openembedded-issues at lists.openembedded.org
ReportedBy: goxboxlive at gmail.com
QAContact: tinderbox-oe at gmx.net
There seems to be a bug in the xtscal.in file (/usr/bin/xtscal in gpe).
When i add my machine to it, it just overlook it, but when i change the machine
recognization it works. So i guess there might be some bug in the init.
When i replace this:
module_id() {
# Get model name
echo `grep "^Hardware" /proc/cpuinfo | sed -e "s/.*: *//" | tr a-z A-Z`
}
with this:
module_id() {
awk 'BEGIN { FS=": " } /Hardware/ { print $2 } ' </proc/cpuinfo
}
the script works as it should and my machine is calibrateing right.
While you are fixing this bug could you also add HTC Universal to the patch
/org.openembedded.dev/packages/xtscal/xtscal/xtscal-cxk.patch in the 270 angle
degree line.
thx
