Hi.
I have tried to clean up the machine file for the HTC Universal, so build
images will have all the required modules installed. I also have updated the
kernel defconfig. Could you please replace
packages/linux/linux-handhelds-2.6/htcuniversal/defconfig with the one attahed.

And also patch htcuniversal.conf with the patch included. 
The rtc-dev, -sysfs and -core isent installed without it listed. So please dont
remove it:
