Ok, so with -fvisibility-inlines-hidden enabled, and qte (qte-mt-2.3.10-r4)
rebuilt with it, opie-console fails to link with exactly the error in the
original description.

So, place to fix pinpointed, need to consider how to fix it, initial idea is to
disable -fvisibility-inlines-hidden just for qte.
