          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux

          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Distributions

Hi!

In OZ 3.5.4.1 my Buffalo WLI2-CF-S11 card did not work anymore (SL-C860). I did
add following lines to /etc/pcmcia/hostap_cs.conf

card "Buffalo WLI2-CF-S11"
   version "BUFFALO", "WLI2-CF-S11"
#  manfid 0x026f, 0x030b
   bind "hostap_cs"

and after that I had the problem that the dhcp client was still running after
pulling the card out, which prevented that the interface did come up on insert.

For this I created the file /etc/network/if-down.d/udhcp with 2 files

#!/bin/sh
kill `cat /var/run/udhcpc.$IFACE.pid`

I'm not sure what I did wrong in the first place that it didn't work for me,
but maybe this info helps someone else.
