Maybe this will be helpful. I am stuck at the same problem. I followed the tips
from this bug and I :
1) first build the qte and its dependencies.
2) cleaned the qte package, modified the angstrom-glibc.inc
3) build just the qte with the flag disabled 
4) enabled the flag and ...
Got the same bug - at the same package opie-console. 

I will try to work on that and will let you know of the results.
