OK, having a button that's mapped to Control is terrific, especially for
command-line use. However, I'd really like to have more flexibility--for
example, mapping the "dot" button to an action (ie., launching the
Opie-Console), and mapping the Right Shift button to Control.
Under the SharpROM, the "dot" button was not mapped to "OK", it was treated as
a distinct keypress, and could be mapped to any action--the default mapping
might have been to "OK", but it could be reassigned via the Button settings
applet to do different actions for a short press or being held down for an
extended time.
