Summary: Mysql won't compile with Glibc2.5 (pthread_kill not
declared)
Product: Openembedded
Version: Angstrom
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Distributions
AssignedTo: openembedded-issues at lists.openembedded.org
ReportedBy: nicolasfr at gmail.com
QAContact: tinderbox-oe at gmx.net
Current mysql package won't compile with Glibc2.5:
| mysqld.cc: In function 'void close_connections()':
| mysqld.cc:603: error: 'pthread_kill' was not declared in this scope
| mysqld.cc: In function 'void kill_mysql()':
| mysqld.cc:820: error: 'pthread_kill' was not declared in this scope
| mysqld.cc: In function 'void wait_for_signal_thread_to_end()':
| mysqld.cc:1081: error: 'pthread_kill' was not declared in this scope
| mysqld.cc: In function 'int main(int, char**)':
| mysqld.cc:3168: error: 'pthread_kill' was not declared in this scope
| make[4]: *** [mysqld.o] Error 1
Looking at the staged pthread.h shows no declaration for pthread_kill (while my
host pthread.h has declaration for it).
