A modification is needed in 
org.openembedded.dev/packages/linux/linux-handhelds-2.6_cvs.bb

The file contains version description :

K_MAJOR = "2"
K_MINOR = "6"
K_MICRO = "17"
HHV     = "1"

While HHV should be HHV     = "2". 

Without this change there is no way to bitbake the linux-handhelds-2.6 for
h2200.
