Quite obvious this one.  Flash the latest (04/01/2007) Akita image/kernel,
boot, and see that you can't login via the graphical interface.  Breaks
*everything* since no-one can get in.

URL has the discussion point, plus a work-around but doesn't really solve the
problem.
