Antti, thank you for reporting this.  We appreciate your work.  Unfortunately,
we are underpowered and thus your work became obsolete before it could be
applied.  The latest versions in OE are glibc 2.4 and 2.5 now.

Closing the bug now to get it off the radar.  It would be nice if you continued
to contribute to OE.
