On Zaurus SL-5500 (Collie) USB craddle interface is not working.

I tried to load cdc_ether and zaurus modules, to no avail. Whenever I plug the
Zaurus into USB craddle, both desktop and the Zaurus show nothing new in dmesg
and lsusb.
