No way, ever is this second patch an option. Checking the commandline against
some heuristics is a really bad idea. We seem to need to do this due to the
need to add the boot_params option to poodle.c which I've said is the
unacceptable part. None of these hacks will get merged into mainline. This
raises into question the code in the export_atags part of the patch which I
believe is incorrect. These patches need more thought, I'm going to try and
look into a better solution...
