Just out of curiosity, what exactly is the problem with adding boot_params? Is
it the need to deal with the Sharp command line or some other issue? I did a
quick search, and there are ~116 other references to boot_params in arch/arm,
so this does seem to be a common way of communicating with the boot-loader on
other boards.
