Then the proper thing would have been to educate the person who made a mistake
so he wont do it again in the future. 

A two-line description about your reason for re-opening the bug would have been
far more efficient and polite than your degrading reply about a beginners
mistake that only causes grief and bad blood for basically no sane reason at
all.
