Suggested fix in kernel. Kernel interface already has separate means to turn
screen completely off. So, it would be superfluous to maintain ability to turn
it deadly off with brightness control, especially if it causes issues to users.

So, just add stopgap patch to not let it go beyond curtain hardware-value.
