           Summary: gpe-conf serial (gpe-conf - 0.2.6-r1) writes own
                    /etc/gpsd.conf
           Product: Openembedded
           Version: Angstrom 2007.12
          Platform: ARM
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Distributions
        AssignedTo: openembedded-issues at lists.openembedded.org
        ReportedBy: andrea.adami at gmail.com

Zaurus c7x0 Socket CF Bluetooth Rev K (ttyS4)
Bluetooth NMEA GPS on rfcomm1

gpe-conf writes inconsistent settings in /etc/gpsd.conf.
e.g. NMEA is apparently ignored and defaults to Earthmate.

The problem is this file has precedence over /etc/default/gpsd, used by gpsd.

I suppose the latest layout has moved all in /etc/default.
