Thanks for the suggestion. I'm following bug 2617 closely. Tosa uses WM9712,
which is a pretty versatile chip. The recording and sound routing are chip
specific. ZC and ALC are common.
ZC preferably on by default.
I've yet to see the benefit of ALC. further testing needed.
I've mapped the old o-hand default settings to the new alsa sound state names
in committed revision c0e108d768a455005e5b9ad28796112f203c3de6 to provide basic
sound system output.
fine tuning of ALC could be for later enhancement.
