Well, the thing is that gconf has been inherited in
packages/gstreamer/gst-plugins.inc at least since version
dcbcfcd5113ae3537ff542946f52dbe376f6ec96 dated 2006-03-18T17:18:54.

Olivier it would be really nice if you could compile and see if this problem is
still there.  If that is inconvenient for me let us know what machine and
distro so we can compile the package for you to verify.  Thanks.
