The exact same thing also happens when I installed qpe-gaim which pulled in a
couple of dependencies.

Configuring glibc-gconv

Configuring libgaim-plugins
Configuring libgaim0
Configuring libgcrypt11
Configuring libgnutls11
Configuring libgpg-error0
Configuring qpe-gaim
