I did what you suggested and I added this line

PACKAGE_ARCH_palmtx = "palmtx"

to packages/udev/udev_092.bb as well.

Unfortunately, the unpack task seems to prefer the file in udev-092 rather then
the machine specific one as expected: weird ... :\
