Summary: screen rotation applet broken in Angstrom-x11-image-
                    glibc-test-20070605-tosa
           Product: Openembedded
           Version: Angstrom
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Distributions
        AssignedTo: openembedded-issues at lists.openembedded.org
        ReportedBy: xjqian at gmail.com
         QAContact: tinderbox-oe at gmx.net

after the initial rotation, tapping the screen rotation applet has no effect.

no problem with /usr/bin/xrandr-panelapp.sh (identical script as before)
no problem with /usr/bin/xrandr (can use xrandr -o normal to manually rotate
screen)

used to be working in Angstrom-x11-image-test-20070507-tosa and previous
images.

The suspect is /etc/pointercal introduced in the new image to skip the initial
screen calibration for the user. It could be the coordinate info got stuck
somewhere, and not updated or wrongly managed during run-time after one
rotation.
